About Chalk Talk
As it’s known to Local Sports Talk Radio, Sports Fans, and enthusiasts, “Chalk Talk” was founded by Tim Herb and Jeremy Conn, in September 2010. At the start of the 2010 NFL Season, “Chalk Talk” debuted on Baltimore’s ESPN Radio 1300AM, airing “Live” every Sunday from 11am-1pm. Described as a Live Sports Talk Radio Show, Tim & Jeremy set out to change the paradigm of Sports Talk Radio by combining their knowledge & passion for Sports, while adding humor, wit, and downright sarcasm. Since the Show’s inception, Tim and Jeremy opened the phone lines, allowing Fans of all kinds to offer their opinions and input on the wide world of Sports.
In the early Summer of 2011, Tim and Jeremy invited a local sports blogger and loyal listener of “Chalk Talk” to their Show for an audition. It was then that Josh Angulo-Bartlett, aka “Jabby Burns”, earned a seat at the table and became a regular personality of “Chalk Talk”. Together the Trio continues to combine their unique sports commentary to produce what many local Sports Fans describe as the best live Weekend Sports Talk Show. READ MORE
